my best friend's wedding

Ally's wedding was SO beautiful and a long time coming. I think we've been talking about our weddings since we were in kindergarten, and our favorite hobby in high school was watching other people's wedding videos over and over (I think we have Jennie and Chad's memorized!). We would always talk about what pictures we would put in there, what songs would be played, everything. I'm so happy that Ally finally got to have her dream wedding! I just had such a happy heart all day. It was very surreal to see Ally come out of the temple with Steve and get to have that "you're married!!" moment with her that we've talked about for so so long. I just love her so much! Enough with the cheese, lets get on to the pictures. Can't wait to see the ones Jennie took but these will have to do for now! Shout out to Jack for being my fab photographer :)))

She was such a perfect and glowing bride! Her and Steve looked so happy.

Waiting for pictures= Holly taking all her creative photography ideas out on us. PS- the following picture is proof that this baby DOES NOT got back. Dang.

I love weddings because it brings together all the people you don't get to see everyday. I love and miss all these friends! They are everything.

We got to wear very pretty dresses and hang out with these crazy boys and the heels were busted out again... 2 weeks in a row, this is a huge deal for me!

Thank you for letting me be a part of your day Al! I love you so much and am so happy you found your prince charming!

one for the ages

We've known for years that Kori's eventual wedding would be spectacular, obviously. She is so stylish and has the best taste. So of course when she got engaged, we were so excited to see what she would come up with! The night before the wedding, the bridesmaids all stayed together in the bridal suite at the Mandarin Oriental at city center. We ate way too much room service and laughed at all our memories of Kori and Stefan and it was just so perfect. And Kori being the very generous and detail-oriented person that she is gave us each a juicy sweatsuit with Team Newman on the back... SO kori! And she had a white one that said Mrs. Newman. We just couldn't get enough.

When we woke up on wedding day there was the most delicious breakfast already there for us and a team of people to beautify us... it was such a dream! Seriously, do people really live like this?! It was so great and stress-free... even Kori was so relaxed! And it was so fun to be with her as she was getting ready. They had the wedding video people there the whole time and it was just something straight out of a reality show!

I can't even describe how obsessed I am with this bridesmaids dress. It was SO gorgeous. I really think I'll just put it on around the house from time to time just to be able to wear it again since I'll probably never get a chance! Unless someone has a black tie wedding and invites me or I make my glorious return to the high school prom or something. And we had to wear these gorgeous sparkly heels which were 2 sizes too small and made me 8 feet tall but I didn't even care! I just loved it so much! Kori didn't want to have to worry about anyone being late or getting lost on the way to the temple so she had a limo for us all to take. Like I said, she's very detail oriented! And Stefan's niece was the world's cutest flower girl.

I only have these 2 pictures of the bride but it seriously does not do her justice! She was STUNNING! I can't wait to see the photos from the photographer.

After the temple we went back to the hotel and had a little time before the reception, so of course the team newman hoodies came back out! We had to make a grand entrance into the reception with everyone watching... all I can say is thank goodness for groomsman escorts because those heels were killer! The reception was amazing. Stefan made a video with them talking about how they met and when they dated and it was just the most adorable thing... I love personal details like that. In typical Kori fashion, they came in with a choreographed first dance. The food was delicious and of course the only picture I took during the reception was of the little mini cakes they gave everyone! And there was tons of dancing and it was just a blast. Kori and Stefan are just so much fun and SO great for each other.

I feel like I keep saying it was perfect, but that's really the only way to describe it! I feel so lucky to have been a part of it. I love Kori so much- she is truly as much a sister to me as Hannah and Jessica. Even though she's younger than me she has always been there for me and supported me through everything! I'm so happy that she found Stefan... she is happier than I've even seen her. They are an example of what I hope to find for myself! Even though my wedding will be on an WAY lower scale :)))

back again!

Surprise! Time to make an appearance on the blog. Life is busy as usual- hence the absence! There's been lots of working and schooling and bachelorette-ing and wedding-ing and a little bit of vacationing.
A few updates:
-Boots has me in love with One Direction. I'm forever a boy band girl. Nsync did quite a number on me.
-Got my first pair of Jordans... will they ever be worn? We'll see. Its mostly just peer pressure from all the wonderful ghetto people I work with that gasp when I tell them I don't own any Jordans. I love my coworkers.
-My bracket busted on day one
-I have an unhealthy obsession with Maybelline Baby Lips... I own them in every color. Even bubble gum pink.
-Read the Hunger Games series and loved the first 2 and got so so bored with the last one. And the movie was fantastic too.
-Got to see all my best friends in the same place at the same time and loved it!
-My little brother got his mission call to London England! So exciting and the perfect place for him!

And the obligatory photo update AKA I'm the worst at taking pictures. We had Kori's bachelorette party and it was so fabulous... love that girl with all my heart. And I feel old hanging out with all these gorgeous young things!

The day after, me and Jessica escaped and met the rest of the fam down in Mexico. It was cold but we still loved it! And of course I only took 2 pictures. Wittlest guy is getting so cute and BIG!

I'm going to try and post about Kori and Ally's weddings so stay tuned!
